About the Role:
Palatka Housing Authority is looking for a compassionate and driven Resident Relations Coordinator to serve as a vital link between our residents and the services they need. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution
- Coordinate and facilitate resident programs, community events, and engagement initiatives
- Maintain accurate resident records, correspondence, and case documentation
- Connect residents with social services, community resources, and supportive programs
- Collaborate with property management, maintenance, and social service teams to address resident needs
- Monitor lease compliance and assist with resident education on housing policies and procedures
- Conduct regular outreach and follow-up with residents to ensure satisfaction and well-being
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in social services, public administration, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in resident relations, property management, social work, or community outreach
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with a resident-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management or case management software
- Knowledge of HUD regulations, affordable housing programs, or public housing preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations with empathy, patience, and professionalism

Compensation: $35,151.00 - $40,749.00 per year
About Us
Palatka Housing Authority (PHA) is committed to working with its families to build better families and communities. PHA serves the cities of Crescent City, East Palatka, Interlachen, Palatka, Pomona Park, San Mateo, Satsuma, and Welaka. Housing is provided through the Public Housing Program and Housing Choice Vouchers Program. PHA manages 422 Public Housing units and manages 402 vouchers.
